Hehe... A little bit of a May trend with updating my Journal.
Annnnd... update. Not much that different. Back from Toronto, working temporary full time. Enjoying new films and hanging out.

So the last journal Entry I have on here is... May of last year.  It's May 2009 and wow.  I suppose this is an update of a year's worth.  Graduated from International Academy of Design and Technology, better known as Toronto Film School.  I have another diploma to add to my Edumacation section.  It's Video Game Design and Development.  So of course, it does me no good in the real world it seems.  I'll be applying to as many places as I can.  Hopefully within a few months, things start to look up.  I have a few new <3's.  Check them out as they are all very talented peoples.

In the middle of Term 3!  And it's going ... slowly, but surely.

Our 2nd game, Prisium, was an awesome hit too.  And number three, NPR (Ninja Pirate Robots) is looking rad-ass.  Hehe..

Anime North is this weekend.  I'm going at Re-l from Ergo Proxy.  Nothing big, for sure, but something other than Naruto or Bleach.  I've yet to find the blue eye shadow, and small tie clip too.  I doubt I'll find one, but I'm more or less going to window shop.  No drawing as I do at Animethon in Edmonton, but hoping to have fun.

So here I am in Term two of VGD (Video Game Design).  I happen to be doing all the visuals and it's definitely eating my soul.  I don't I've ever been so sleep deprived.  So not healthy, but sooo paying off.  Sprites are scary.

Toronto is big... I think too big for the likes of I.  I feel I have no sense of direction here.  It's disorienting.  I am really missing Edmonton right now.  I'm hoping by the time Animethon comes around, I'll be able to visit, and draw.

As is, the workload is way too heavy..  so we'll have to see.

This is where everything gets hectic.  I'll be teaching kids ages 8 to 12 at the Edmonton Art Gallery every Saturday for six weeks on drawing Anime, starting May 5th.

I'm debating whether I should dress up this Animethon on August.

I found my other DA too.  Ensane.deviantart.com   I haven't had the time to update it ever, and now it only has 19 pageviews. Hooray.

Old note, but still active:  I believe I will be attending Toronto Film School in October.  On that note, I am also entering Grant MacEwan in the case everything with Toronto doesn't go as planned. It's a two year program that I'm entering, finally.  For Video Game Design.  I had a guff with a friend who thought I was there permanently.  But as the case is, I hope to come back here (Edmonton), or to Vancouver to work.  I think it's the start of a dream career for me.  I hope to follow through successfully.


And I'm still asking myself, where Silvrain went to.

Back home.  I think Kris and I will be attending Toronto Film School.  Where my aunt lives is close to the college and very convenient.  The only thing I'm having difficulty with is, leaving all my friends behind for awhile.  Even if that were the case, I'll be back during most holidays, but that's how it is with anyone else who's taking University or College elsewhere, isn't it?

I've finally submitted for the Kissybook.  I am hoping I, at least, get selected when Kim goes into publishing.

It's the Kissy Book Project.  It's a book about kissing.

I'm visiting Toronto at the moment with my sister.  We've celebrated Chinese New Years here with our aunt and cousin.  So far it's been nice.  Found a snazzy net cafe so yaR.

Summer thoughts

Yeah I met up with my Aunt in London. Europe was amazing.. It was London to Paris, and Berlin to Rome, Florence, then Milan, London, and then home again. Now that I'm home it feels so boring. =_=; And now i wanna live over there! Maybe I'll visit over there during next Summer as well.

After i got back it was about a week or 2 of working someand Animethon. That was wicked fun. Sold lots of drawings and i dressed up as a school girl. lol And a week later, my parents, my sister, and I took the time for a road trip south to California. We stopped in Vegas along the way so that was fun. Our relatives in SanDiego let us stay with them. It was lovely. Well the beaches were great fun anyway.  Hmmm.. Lasted for about 2 weeks before we left for SantaCruz. That's the place that was the raddest. The Boardwalk was quite the intriguing part of it. Carnival open all year round along the beach.

Home bound again, and the weekend after i got back, my friend and I head out to Hinton, AB for a camping trip. That was tons of fun. Climbing rocks and throwing more rocks at targets across the river. I got pics of everyone brushing their teeth.

Great summer, I'd say. Probably the best ever in my lifetime... Usually better than sitting at home and being useless to everyone. Now that I'm home it's back to bills, work, and schoolwork. hoorah... o.o Life is grand, no?  How was your guys' summers?

So my PS2 is gone.  I sent it off to BC (Canada) so they can repair it.  *cries*  OMG I NEED IT SO MUCH!

So things I'm doing now...
Building up my portfolio for Toronto.  They want it in by Feb 18, so I'm pretty much rushing now...  Freakin slow poke.

Hmmm... I'm currently reading The Glasswright's Progress by Mindy L. Klasky.  Not a bad writer, but I think she needs some improvement.  Real intriguing story right now.

Downloaded Gundam Seed Destiny.  Watched up to episode 14 before I found out Gundam Seed was Season 1, and Gundam Seed Destiny is Season 2...  So now i gotta go watch Seed because i have no clue who some of these people are.

Also download a new anime called Grenadier...  Not bad.  One of those super-girl-revolver-hero-with-big-breasts.  Not surprising...  But its not bad.

Let's see... What else am I doing...  Started 's comic finally.  But with exams right now, its going to be lousy.

I am currently playing Kingdom Hearts over again.  After watching the new KH2 trailer, I can't get enough.  Stilling waiting for it to come out.  I swear i will totally own that game...  I am such a geek.

Currently working on a pixel image.  Sure to have it done by the end of the holidays.

Currently reading The Wayfarer Redemption by Sara Douglass.  Its a fantasy read, if anybody's into that.  I recommend it.  Really good...  About .. *reads the back*  honor, family, love, ya know the whole typical fantasy chit.  really good book.
